A pet owner in India has gone into a meltdown after her pet ate a huge quantity of pet food.
Karan Bhatti, owner of the vegan pet food company Vegan Pet Food, posted on Facebook that she was fed a lot of pet foods, including those from the pet food maker, Tesco.
In her post, Bhattin wrote that she had been fed all the Pet Food that was offered in the stores and had not noticed any difference in the taste.
She said she was also fed organic pet food by the manufacturer PetFoodIndia, which she has not used.
“I’m a vegetarian, I have no problem with eating pet food but if my pet is getting too much I would feel ashamed and embarrassed,” Bhattis post said.
Bhatti added that she went to the supermarket to get a pet food, but she found that most of the pet foods were “fancy” and were not very nutritious.
“When I tried to buy organic pet foods I was disappointed,” she wrote.
After her post went viral, Bhati received a lot more complaints from pet owners.
People also said that they had eaten too much of pet products.
Several pet food makers have also made public statements about their products, saying they will do more research to find alternatives.
“A lot of people are finding it very difficult to buy pet food from the supermarket and I hope this is a first step to help change the petfood industry,” PetFood India CEO Ramita Bhasin told the Indian Express.
