Prakrabati, an organic vegetarian dining restaurant, is set to open its first restaurant in Washington on March 6.
The restaurant, which is slated to open in the U.S. capital, is expected to serve “fresh, local, organic, sustainably grown and locally sourced ingredients,” according to a press release from the D.P.C., which has been working to create a healthier food system in the nation’s capital.
The Prakratas organic vegan menu, including vegetarian and vegan options, will also be available, the release added.
Prakratas vegetarian menu will also include salads and sandwiches.
The restaurant, founded in 2011, has been lauded for its food and service and has been described as a hub for organic, sustainable food production in the United States.
A number of restaurants are now located in Washington as a result of the Affordable Care Act.
