Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford scored a hat trick against West Bromwich Albion to give his side a 3-1 win over their West Brom rivals.
Rashford struck twice as he sealed a 1-0 victory, which also brought the hosts into the lead on goal difference.
West Brom, who were leading 1-1 at the break, started the second half with a goal from a corner from Ashley Williams but Rashford converted the ensuing penalty and the hosts went on to win.
Rafa Benitez’s side remain third in the Premier League with 17 points from 17 games, three ahead of Manchester United and three behind Liverpool.
The Red Devils will face West Brom again in the FA Cup semi-finals on Wednesday (NZ time).
